Goalkeeper Beiranvand Sets Milestone in Iran Football Team - Sports news

He represented Iran in the match against Kyrgyzstan, where the Persians won the match 3-2 in Bishkek in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Beiranvand surpassed Mehdi Rahmati (78) and Ahmad Reza Abedzadeh (77).

The 32-year-old goalie debuted in a friendly match against Iraq on January 4, 2015, just before the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.

Beiranvand has represented Iran in two FIFA World Cups in 2018 and 2022 and three AFC Asian Cups in 2015, 2019 and 2023.
